SBI Foundation is the CSR arm of the State Bank of India. The program aims to create an enabling environment for athletes to excel in their respective sports and complements various initiatives launched by the Government of India.

About SBIF PASS - Para Athlete Sports Scholarship

As part of its commitment to inclusive sports development, SBI Foundation has launched SBIF PASS - Para Athlete Sports Scholarship, a unique initiative to directly support para-athletes across 12 Paralympic sports disciplines. The scholarship provides targeted financial assistance, enabling athletes to focus on training, competition, and long-term growth. SBIF PASS promotes inclusion, excellence, and equal opportunity, helping para-athletes overcome barriers and reach their full potential.

Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria

Must be an Indian citizen.

Must have represented India or a state at the national/international level.

Must be ranked Top 20 internationally or Top 10 nationally (as per official National Sports Federation rankings).

✅ Rankings under the senior category of their sport will be considered.

Must be below 35 years of age at the time of application.

Should not be employed or receiving another sports scholarship.

Must belong to any of the 12 Paralympic sports disciplines listed below.

   🔹 Badminton

   🔹 Cycling

   🔹 Canoeing

   🔹 Judo

   🔹 Powerlifting

   🔹 Rowing

   🔹 Shooting

   🔹 Swimming

   🔹 Table Tennis

   🔹 Taekwondo

Documents Required:

  • Aadhaar Card (Both Sides)

  • Passport (if available)

  • 10th & 12th Marksheets

  • Ranking Certificate from National Sports Federation

  • Proof of Participation at National/International Events

  • Disability Certificate

  • Undertaking for scholarship exclusivity

  • Declaration of current employment/scholarship status

  • Performance reports (if applicable)

Scholarship Benefits

A monthly stipend of ₹40,000 for one year.​

  • The program is subject to strict verification and monitoring. Athletes must maintain performance standards and attend mentoring sessions.

  • Limit uploading document file size to 2 MB while filling the form.
